CP Caboose 434430

This is a modern (welded steel), center cupola caboose.  It was built in October of 1973 as CP 438902 to replace Canadian Pacific Railways aging fleet of older wood cabooses.  When built it was equipped with all the modern conveniences; Kitchenette, toilet, bunks and was powered with a self contained generator.
